Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of YouTubeASQAMap ("Service"), operated by the YouTube Tool Suite. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

YouTubeASQAMap is a web-based tool designed for Australian Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) that maps YouTube video content against Units of Competency from training.gov.au, generating AI-powered competency gap analysis reports. The Service is part of the YouTube Tool Suite, which also includes youtubetotext.io, youtubestudynotes.ai, and youtubeasqamap.com.au. A single account and credit balance works across all three tools.

2. Accounts and Credits

New accounts receive 3 free credits. Additional credits are available through paid subscription plans. Credits are consumed when you use the Service and are reset monthly on paid plans. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify credit allocations with reasonable notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service for personal, educational, research, and commercial purposes subject to these restrictions. You must not:

Extracting a transcript for personal use, research, commentary, accessibility, or educational purposes is generally considered fair use. Reproducing a creator's content wholesale without attribution or permission may infringe copyright.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed via PayPal. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at the stated plan price. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete. Transcript accuracy depends on the quality of YouTube's auto-generated captions and is outside our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YouTubeASQAMap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

YouTube video content is owned by the respective creators and is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. YouTubeASQAMap is not affiliated with YouTube or Google LLC. The YouTubeASQAMap software, design, and branding are owned by the YouTube Tool Suite and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where possible. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
